The Junior Council were successful in winning three Premiership Pennants.

  • Under 18 SOUTH BUNBURY
  • Under 14 MARIST BROS. (Undefeated)
  • Under 12 SOUTH BUNBURY TIGERS

A total of 256 boys were this year registered with South Bunbury. Our Council sponsors ten teams, including Marist Bros.

To the many parents and supporters of various teams, the Junior Council extend their thanks for their support and assistance.

A special thanks to the ladies who assisted at the Hay Park Kiosk throughout the season.

Our gratitude to Patrons and Trophy Donors.

Life membership honours were this year bestowed on Stan Hall at the Annual Wind-up. Stan’s work over many years both as team manager and committeeman was spoken of highly by Dr. Manea when making the presentation.

Special congratulations also go to Dean Taylor (Tigers) for winning the Association Under 12 Fairest and Best Award-Joe James Medal.

Our congratulations also go to Kim Hannah, who was awarded the Sports Star of the Year. Kim was nominated by our Council, and we are very proud of his achievement.

Our little league grand final this year saw our South Bunbury side go down by only 1 point, a very good effort against stiff opposition.

The culminations of a great season’s effort was the winning of the Bedford Park Youth Club Perpetual Trophy by the South Bunbury Junior Council, awarded annually to the club that the Association considers the best club for the year.
